We Made it! - George Town, Bahamas!

Such a strange day.... The day we finally made it. It seemed as tho we kept setting new finish lines...and new goals First Florida.... then Bimini and then finally the morning we set out towards George town. This wasn't intentional but hey living in the moment does funny things. Subconsciously, setting achievable goals and making time to celebrate every win!! (which I think means we are progressing and finding our way outside the restraints of our past lives) This time though, this goal.....it was different, we felt it in the belly of our emotions! Both of us knew that THIS was the true finish line. It was some years ago that we flew down to visit friends in this exact location, to stay on their boat. Neither one of us ever even dreaming that we would one day make the journey on our own boat! Instead, we were in awe that we had friends that were kind enough to share this opportunity with little ol' us.  Snickering to ourselves, as we wondered if they actually ever thought we wo...

Normans Cay- Stuck in a postcard

Human nature is a funny one.... Locked into everything that doesn't serve us. Some people see it, and strive to break free and forge their own path.  Yet even then the struggle to not fall into old habits seems almost impossible.  Today we awoke to a beautiful anchorage!  The waters are what is often featured on post cards.  The beaches are soft with sand as white as snow, but of course warm to every step as what feels like soft powder pushes up between your toes.  Surrounded by breath taking hills and caves that shelter you from the winds, it's a rare moment of safety. The catch? Twice a day the moment rolls around when you must decide if NOW is when you push on.  Only twice a day will the water be replenished enough to allow for safe passage outside its walls.  And to be honest one of these happens at night fall, which means really you have 1 option.  A decision that must be made everyday....
