Dare to Dream

It's been a hot minute since I've dumped my thoughts onto these pages to share with the world.

It's not because I haven't had time....but instead it seemed that there always would be a better day....and more to tell.

So today as I sit on upon our next vessel, I feel that just maybe that day has come.

Being back was a hard transition.

Without going into details, we both have found that this country has changed.

Toss in the absent friends or distant visits....it was hard to remain focused on why we even came back at all.

Or why we/I were so determined to trade sand for snow angels at all.

The trip we traveled on thepreview is something I wish more had the opportunity to explore.

For within this trip, through the ups and downs, and all of the beautiful sights seen, the greatest gift it may have given us was the appreciation for the lives we CHOSE to live and those we CHOSE to share it with.

From friends and family, and aspirations and inspirations; we now have a greater understanding of what truly matters (too us) and we wish that more of you are granted a similar opportunity!

So promise us, that IF given a chance to chase that unobtainable dream, that you will hold on with all your might!

Because we believe in you!

And one thing for sure is that all it takes is one person to help you achieve that dream.

For us it was not anyone we would have expected.

And oddly enough I think it was them that Dare(d) to dream.

That's right...

Although we hope to have a few more tricks up our sleeve, we have found ourselves on a 'new' vessel.

One that has been on the horizon before yet the timing just didn't seem right.

However, this time with the grace of a caring friend we now call her home.

With Dare to Dream, we can now launch into our next chapter.

So....all aboard because things are about to get real!

We hope that on our new vessel we will be able to begin our charity and give back to those that have already given so much.

Veteran Owned Charters will be offering free charters to Veterans.

Sharing our passion for the outdoors and beauty of this country, with opportunities to experience Lake Ontario and the St.Lawrence.

This will include some of the very islands we called home while preparing to make our FIRST trip to the Bahamas!

Aka The Thousand Islands (in Brockville)

Although our new vessel will not see the Bluewater, we are lucky to have this chance to finally breathe life into the sails of long dreamt of dream. (No it's not a sailboat - but couldn't resist!)

So stay tuned!

Fingers crossed there WILL be more to come!

But in the meantime we invite you to join us on the next epic chapter and ask you to promise to that you will always "Dare to Dream" because you just never know who might be watching!
